HERTFORDSHIRE’S CLEAN SWEEP AT OPTOVERSITY
Posted on: March 12, 2020, by : Janice EnglishHertfordshire University’s third year optometry students swept the board at the 2020 Optoversity Challenge in Cambridge, beating two teams from City University and others from Anglia Ruskin and Bradford Universities.
The team of four – left to right: Kiranpreet Rajpans, Rebekah Young, Emma Saunders and Esha Malik scored the highest marks during the day of multiple challenges. They were tested on their clinical knowledge and ability to deal with unexpected optical situations during the Out of The Box Optics event.
“We are so happy to have put Hertfordshire on the map, and proud for our tutors. We put in a lot of effort, and it is great to have won,” said Rebekah, who scored the highest individual marks.
